发布时间:2021-03-31

The European market has more and more strict requirements on electronic and electrical products. The recently issued en50366 standard puts forward higher requirements on electromagnetic radiation of products. Are you ready for manufacturers and exporters?

What is en50366?

En50366:2003 is the latest EMC standard for household appliances and similar appliances. It specifies the evaluation method of electromagnetic field around the product, and defines standard test conditions and test intervals. It is used to show that the product meets the requirements of the European Council recommendation 1999 / 519 / EC. The main purpose of the relevant tests of the act is to protect product users from harmful electromagnetic radiation.

The decree was published in the joint communique on April 29, 2004, which is a mandatory requirement of European countries. At the same time, the new standard en50366 also supports the main contents of low voltage directive 73 / 23 / EEC.

test method

The test is used to prove that the delivered electrical products are at rated voltage, rated frequency and can be used normally. The test distance is 50cm, the electromagnetic field of all surfaces will be measured from different positions, and the product will be connected to the highest capacity discharged battery specified by the manufacturer.
